These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Glass First Class Ltd. website at glassfirstclass.ca and the window cleaning and maintenance services provided by Glass First Class Ltd. (“GFC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
Glass First Class Ltd. provides residential and commercial window cleaning, eavestrough maintenance, ivy trimming, and related property maintenance services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The specific services to be provided, pricing, and scheduling are confirmed during the quoting process prior to any booking.
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion.
2. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided by Glass First Class are based on the information you supply at the time of request, including your property type, number of windows, access conditions, and selected services. The quoted price is the price you pay — we do not add charges on service day without your prior approval.
If on-site conditions differ significantly from what was described (for example, more windows than quoted, blocked access requiring additional equipment, or a significantly different site condition than represented), we will discuss any price adjustment with you before proceeding.
3. Booking and Cancellation
Service bookings are confirmed once you have accepted a quote and a service date has been agreed upon. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows that result in a wasted crew visit may be subject to a reasonable service call fee.
We reserve the right to reschedule services due to unsafe weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will contact you promptly in such situations to arrange an alternative date.
4. Payment
Payment is due on completion of service. We accept credit card and e-transfer. No invoice is issued until the work is completed and you have had the opportunity to review the results. If there is an outstanding balance after service delivery, it is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
5. Re-Work Guarantee
Glass First Class provides a seven-day no-questions-asked re-work guarantee on all completed services. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the work within seven days of service completion, contact us and we will arrange a return visit to correct the issue at no additional charge.
This guarantee applies to work performed by our team as described in the original quote. It does not cover re-contamination from weather, construction, or other external factors occurring after service completion.
6. Access to Your Property
By booking our services, you confirm that you have the authority to grant our team access to the property for the purpose of completing the booked service. You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to all areas included in the scope of work.
Please remove obstacles, secure pets, and notify us of any access restrictions prior to the service date. We take care when working around landscaping, furnishings, and outdoor structures, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or fragile items not disclosed before we begin work.
7. Insurance and Liability
Glass First Class Ltd. carries commercial general liability insurance and maintains WSIB coverage for all employees. Our liability is limited to the direct cost of the services provided. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, deterioration of materials due to age or neglect, or damage caused by conditions that were not disclosed or apparent at the time of booking.
8. Website Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes related to researching or booking our services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems, use our website to transmit harmful content, or scrape our content for commercial purposes without our written consent.
The content on this website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Glass First Class Ltd. and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the services we provide shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the “Last updated” date shown at the top. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
